Many promising climate and nature projects are struggling to access capital, while investors are having trouble finding and funding them. Can responsible AI technologies help bridge this gap?

At the 9th GLF Investment Case Symposium, join leaders from across finance, business, technology, government and grassroots initiatives to explore how AI, information and partnerships can make sustainable investment faster, smarter and more effective.

We’re gathering alongside COP31 – and opening the doors for you to join online or in person – to ignite new investment strategies that benefit communities, nature and investors alike.

Coaching can be solitary work. Meanwhile, organizations working for the common good often spend too much time hunting for the support they need. What becomes possible when coaches join forces? More and more coaches are discovering that a collective can be greater than the sum of its parts, offering shared expertise, new consulting opportunities and support for each other’s individual work.

This month, we’ll hear from coaches building collectives in two different ways. Rhiannon Gallagher is a co-founder of Mutualocity, a member-owned cooperative in Colorado. It connects experienced coaches and consultants with the organizations that need them, through a model built on collective ownership, mutual accountability and profit-sharing. Kristi Harrison helps lead the Climate Coaching Collective. Formed by a group of CCA members who became colleagues and friends through CCA and now support each other’s work while pursuing consulting opportunities as a team. Other members of the collective will also be in attendance and may share some of their experiences as time allows.

As Kristi puts it, “Working relationally makes this work both more enjoyable and more effective through the power of synergies and multiple perspectives.”

We’ll open with a grounding and connecting activity and a few CCA updates. Then Tamara Staton, collective member, will moderate the panel, which will explore how these groups came together, how they work, what’s been hard, and what the panelists would recommend to anyone hoping to start or join a collective. There will be time for your questions and group discussion. We’ll close with a look ahead to our November and December meetings.

2026 is a year of increasing intensity. Weather is no longer just something to dress appropriately for. Nature is forcing us to pay attention to the ecological collapse around us with extreme heat, drought and fires throughout Europe, devastating flooding through Asia and extreme species loss caused by algal bloom and Asian Bird Flu in Australia.

Meanwhile, political shifts have also been intense with Hungary’s change in government, UK’s change in Prime Minister, erratic wars in the Middle East and the rise in Populism across the globe. These political shifts signal social change and instability.

Civilisation is struggling to know how to respond to global economic and ecological unpredictability. What can coaches do?

Our November meeting makes space to reflect, integrate key messages and discuss strategies that bravely address the global shifts introduced in the Political Pod September and October sessions:

September – Taking the Pulse – Climate Politics 2026 Lydia Stevens and Diana Collett showcased the latest Political Pod initiative – 8 short interviews with thought leaders who inspire and engage their audiences with courage and bravery.

October – Hungary’s New Political Landscape — What Does It Mean for Climate Action? Csilla Sztarinka and Katarzyna Schubert-Panecka explored the historic shifts that transformed Hungary’s political landscape in April 2026 and the emerging implications for action on climate issues.

In this time of political confusion, ecological collapse and emerging renewal, let’s find ways together to shift perceptions and bring about action. We will:

• Briefly update about current events
• Discuss thoughts, and strategies in break-outs 
• Share ideas for brave action in the plenary.
• Come and discover how you can make a difference in your own backyard.

This joint event, hosted by CCA Political Pod and CCA Hungary, will explore what exactly unfolded in Hungary on April 12th and in the months since: the shifting political climate, the mood across the country, and the new measures and policies already beginning to emerge — with particular attention to developments in environmental policy. Shaping Tomorrow Playbook – Climate Coaching Alliance 

Csilla Sztarinka will give a short overview of how this political shift is impacting climate policy, drawing on the Power of Storytelling chapter from our Shaping Tomorrow Playbook to highlight its relevance to this unfolding narrative. 

Three distinguished guests will then share their own perspectives on Hungarian politics, how the new government, the Tisza Party, won the election, and how this transforms the country’s climate agenda.

Stefano Bottoni is Associate Professor of History at University of Florence. Between 2009 and 2019, he was Senior Research Fellow at the Research Center for Humanities of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. His studies range from Soviet-type nationality policies to post-Communist transition in Hungary. He is the author of “Orbán, a despot in Europe”.

Gergő Papp was born in 1991. He earned a degree in political science from Corvinus University of Budapest. He is a campaign strategist and founder of the political consulting firm Agenda Setting. He gained experience as a consultant for national, European, and municipal election campaigns, and worked for several years for the communications team of the Momentum Movement. He wrote “Kiáradt – A Tisza útja a győzelemig” (“Overflowed – Tisza’s Road to Victory”).

Prof. Dr. József Steier — economist, energy engineer, agricultural engineer, climate researcher and innovator, and CEO of SUNWO Zrt. — has spent several decades working on practical, technological, and economic responses to climate change. His work focuses on connecting renewable energy, CO₂ management, water management, and agriculture, as well as developing complex water–energy–food systems, in both domestic and international projects — particularly in Africa.

This first gathering is an open, welcoming introduction.

Together we’ll briefly cover what the Mini Summits are (open-source workshops that bring teams together to understand challenges across climate, nature and wellbeing, and then co-create solutions together) and how you might be able to use them with the groups and organisations you work with.

At this first gathering we’ll hear a real story from  Sammen om en Jobb, a Norwegian organisation who used the Mini Summits with their team and members. We will also talk with others who are actively using them with their networks so that we can all learn from each other.

This is the first of a recurring series that will happen quarterly. We will alternate times to be inclusive of everyone globally.

How do we cultivate the conditions that allow meaningful change to emerge in times of profound uncertainty and turbulence?

The Climate Coaching Alliance USA invites you to a conversation inspired by the recent work of Otto Scharmer, exploring ideas from his latest book and his recent conversations with the Mind & Life Institute and the Commonwealth Club World Affairs. Together, we will explore questions such as:

• What brings us to systems change work, and why does it matter to us?
• What resonated most strongly for us in Otto’s recent thinking?
• What does it mean to cultivate the “social soil” in which new possibilities for change can take root?
• How might the seven social soil practices help us in our work as coaches, facilitators, and change makers?
• What are “islands of coherence,” and how might they help us navigate turbulent systems and create conditions for transformation?
• How might these ideas connect with what we are already practicing in our own work and communities?

This will be a participatory conversation, with opportunities for personal reflection, small-group sharing, and collective exploration. We will draw on our own experiences as much as on Otto’s ideas, asking what these concepts might mean in practice for those of us working toward systemic and societal change.

Preparation
To make the most of our time together, we ask participants to engage with at least one of the following before the session:
1. Read Otto Scharmer’s latest book, Presencing- 7 PRACTICES FOR TRANSFORMING SELF, SOCIETY, AND BUSINESS; or
2. Listen to Otto Scharmer’s conversation with the Mind & Life Institute from 2025; or
3. Listen to his conversation with the Commonwealth Club World Affairs from April 27, 2026.

You do not need to be an expert in Theory U or Otto Scharmer’s work.

The September workshop introduces an exciting project that the Political Pod Working Group is currently undertaking. The mission is to find out what is happening today for those we have interviewed over the past six years. Climate action may be a slow burn of determination, but those who persist in actively challenging the status quo are constantly shifting their methods; always adapting to meet current challenges in their local scene.

Taking the Pulse – Climate Politics 2026 is a series of short interviews, less than 10 minutes, with Thought Leaders we already know who are continuing to reshape the future locally and globally. This series is a first for Climate Coaching Alliance with the interviews free to share far and wide via YouTube and your favourite podcast platform.
