The Living System Within: Cultivating a Regenerative Self In Coaching with Jing Ye

hosted by the Korean Speaking Pod Soojin Kim & Haesun Chung

Jing Ye is one of the 12 pioneers who participated in the “Coaching for a Regenerative World- The 12×12 Research project” led by CCA members Fran Smith (CCA Brazil), Claire d’Aboville (GCP), Padraic O’Donnell (CCA USA) and Kat Haber (CCA USA).

We are delighted to invite you to a special webinar featuring a pioneering coach working at the intersection of sustainability, coaching, and ecological awareness in China. Drawing from over a decade of experience supporting individuals, organizations, and communities in the sustainability field, this session offers a unique opportunity to explore how coaching can expand our perspective—from the individual to the interconnected living systems we are part of. As highlighted in her journey, this work is not only about impact, but about “making our world larger” through deeper connection and awareness .

In this interactive session, participants will be gently invited to reconnect with nature through a reflective check-in, bringing a natural element into the shared space. The workshop will introduce key concepts such as “a wider sense of self” from Active Hope and the idea of the inner living system —the “Gaia within us”- offering a powerful lens to understand ourselves as part of a larger ecological whole.

Through a live coaching demonstration and group exercises, participants will experience perspective-shifting in real time. This approach reflects a core insight from ecological coaching: that transformation begins not only with knowledge, but with how we relate – to ourselves, to others, and to the world around us.

Whether you are a coach, a sustainability practitioner, or simply someone curious about new ways of seeing and being, this session offers both practical tools and a meaningful space for reflection. We will close with a Q&A, inviting participants to explore how these ideas can be integrated into their own work and lives.

Mit jelent valójában a bolygóbarát étrend?

– érdekel a klímavédelem,

A férőhelyek száma limitált.

A program a Climate Coaching Alliance Hungary szervezésében valósul meg.

A beszélgetést vezetik: Sztarinka Csilla, Pék Anikó és Csocsán Balázs, a CCA Hungary tagjai

Join us in presence and attunement for this 75-minute session including a guided compassion practice and deep listening/sharing circle, facilitated by Heather Monro and Mark McMordie.

The purpose of the Compassion Special Interest Pod is to provide a secular Compassion Community of Practice (CCoP) as a way of co-regulating and processing difficult emotions that arise within the Ecological Awareness Cycle. The CCoP serves as both an antidote to empathic distress fatigue and climate-related burnout in the coach, and their clients in turn, and also develops qualities beneficial to the coaching relationship and better coaching outcomes.

Inclusive and accessible to all.

We look forward to welcoming you.

“How do we raise consciousness to create a regenerative world? What progress are we making, and where should we focus next?”

with Peter Hawkins, in conversation with Stuart Pickles

Peter Hawkins is one of the 12 pioneers who participated in the “Coaching for a Regenerative World- The 12×12 Research project” led by CCA members Fran Smith (CCA Brazil), Claire d’Aboville (GCP), Padraic O’Donnell (CCA USA) and Kat Haber (CCA USA).

Peter is also co-editor of “Ecological and Climate Conscious Coaching”, along with our 3 CCA co-founders (Alison Wyebrow, Eve Turner and Josie McLean), and has been a major supporter and ambassador for the CCA since its very inception.

Peter is one of the Global top 100 coaches and the international thought leader in systemic coaching, executive teams, and board development. He is an Emeritus Professor of Leadership at Henley Business School, and Chairman of www.RenewalAssociates.co.uk and www.Renewal.International

We are inviting you to join Peter – a true pioneer of the coaching profession and ecological and climate conscious coaching – to dig deeper into perhaps the most profound question facing us all as coaches, and humans – “How do we raise consciousness to create a regenerative world? What progress are we making, and where should we focus next?”

In an informal conversation style, Peter will share his perspectives on this the biggest dilemma that the world faces, and how systemic coaching, team coaching and organizational coaching, can play a role in shifting consciousness – as well as other insights and learnings on this and related topics – based on his experience of being a thought leader in this work for over 50 years.

The conversation will provide opportunity to:

Further reflect on the 12×12 interview and answers that Peter gave in his interview with Padraig
Reflect more generally on the progress we are all making towards raising the consciousness levels / the state of things in the world
Where the CCA and climate coaching movement is and how we should be thinking and acting moving forward to accelerate change
After initial conversational exploration of these themes, we will open up for wider participation with Q&A etc.

Please join this upcoming Roundtable event offered by the SCC – Sustainability Coaching Coalition (there are 2 sessions, on 11th and 12th March 2026).

The event is hosted by SCC Representatives Eve Turner, Hetty Einzig and Uma Arora, and features panelists Linda Aspey and Alice Howard-Vyse (see biographies below). Linda and Alice will share about the Work that Reconnects (WtR), which helps to support and mobilise us to reconnect with what is really important, to face reality, and to reframe passive hope into active engagement during these troubling times. It was originally developed by inspirational eco-philosopher Joanna Macy in the late 1970s for activists, bringing together aspects of deep ecology, systems theory and Buddhism.

The Work is structured around the Spiral Journey, a framework that invites participants to explore their lived experience with honesty and care—acknowledging both gratitude and pain—while developing new perspectives and a deeper sense of connection. Rather than relying on passive optimism, Active Hope reframes hope as a practice: something we do, individually and collectively, through values-led choices and courageous conversations.

In this SCC Roundtable session, we invite you to experience WtR with a view to drawing on it as a framework, insight and set of resources you can use in your own client coaching work. It will also deepen our individual and collective capacity to work with climate related emotions, complexity and uncertainty, and strengthen our ability to journey together as a collaborative in these uncertain times.”

On Tuesday 17 February, as a solar eclipse becomes visible across southern Africa, the African chapter of the Climate Coaching Alliance will gather under a powerful celestial symbol of transition and transformation.

Across African cultures, eclipses have long been perceived as moments when normal order is suspended – times of prophecy, recalibration and deep listening. In this spirit, our online gathering will explore how climate coaches are called to work with polarities and paradoxes in an age when inherited paradigms dominate.

Whether juxtaposing ancient wisdom and cutting-edge technologies, individual agency and collective responsibility, hope and grief, masculine and feminine – climate coaching increasingly requires the capacity to hold complexity without collapsing into simplistic narratives or false solutions.

This session invites coaches into a reflective and relational space to explore how we can move beyond “either/or” thinking and cultivate a “both/and” approach that honours multiple truths, diverse worldviews and the deep interdependence of people, planet and future generations.

PLEASE NOTE: The annular eclipse will reach its peak at 12:13 UTC (2:13pm SAST) on Tues 17 Feb with a duration of just over two minutes. This is NOT a total eclipse, so at no time during this occurrence will it be safe to look at the sun without proper eye protection. Do not look directly at the sun or you could injure your eyes.

Here is the full agenda for our meeting:

-Welcome to New Members! (15 min before main meeting starts)
-Opening Connection
-Who is CCA and what is our Mission
-Global Update
-Coaching Support: This meeting is a dedicated space to support each other as coaches. It’s a safe space for inner work so that we can bring more of ourselves to our outer work. Types of support we can offer one another include thought partnering, coaching, and mentoring. We will break out into smaller coaching clusters. We invite you to bring your whole self to this meeting. Please be ready to give and receive support as you feel called to do so. This is truly a space for you to be nurtured and supported in your own work as a climate coach.
-Wrap Up (Impressions, Quick Poll)

Our meetings are designed for you to be able to jump in anytime. They are a space for nurturing, support, and collaboration. Wherever you are at in your climate coaching journey, you are welcome here!

For questions about the upcoming meeting, please email Kelly at kelly@kellygreencoaching.com or Tamara at tamara@changingyourclimate.com

We look forward to gathering with you!
