On 24 June, we are opening up a dedicated space for our global Pod members to gather, reflect, and grow together.  This is a Community Inquiry Space – a collaborative environment where the collective wisdom of the Pod takes centre stage.

We invite you to:

–            Bring Your Questions: Whether you are a seasoned nature practitioner or just beginning to step into this work with clients, bring the questions that are currently surfacing for you.

–            Share Your Experience: We want to hear about your approach to partnering with nature in your coaching.  How do you invite the elements, the seasons, or the local landscape into your practice?

–            Navigate Dilemmas: Tap into the wisdom of the group, using us as a sounding board for a challenge or dilemma you have in relation to your nature coaching.

Open to all members of the Nature Pod community.

Come as you are, bring what is on your mind, and let’s explore the wilder edges of our coaching practice together.  As Rachel Carson wrote, “in nature, nothing exists alone.” and so let’s gather together and support each other in our work.

Otto Scharmer has clarified the importance of islands of coherence and the CCA is already such a beautiful one. As a nested system, CCoP holds a particular intention within the CCA.

Come join us for our next Compassion Community of Practice 3.30-5pm (BST) on 27th April where our collective practice is simple:

• Deepening presence through guided compassion practice
• Compassionate listening to support attunement to one another and the field
• Deepening resonance and coherence as a source of nourishment, wellbeing and flow

As highlighted on the CCoP webpage, the purpose of the Compassion Special Interest Pod is to provide a secular Compassion Community of Practice (CCoP) as a way of co-regulating and processing the various emotions that arise within the Ecological Awareness Cycle. The CCoP serves as both an antidote to empathic distress fatigue and climate-related burnout in the coach, and their clients in turn, and also develops qualities beneficial to the coaching relationship and better coaching outcomes.

In this second workshop we work with the experiences of imaginal cells, the strategies for survival they have and the behavioural mechanisms that support. We get a better sense of the type of butterfly we are becoming – the colours, unique patterns, how it feels to take our first flight and intimately the eggs we are laying for the next cycle to begin

This is a stand-alone workshop or part 2 of the whole journey from caterpillar to butterfly

Watching Charly’s interview with Padraic O’Donnell before the session is recommended but not required.

In the interview, Charly covers:

– How to contract with clients of all kinds on bringing the climate and related crises into coaching

– How to evoke awareness in clients through feelings and embodiment, not just data

– How to attract the clients you want by focusing on the problem you want to solve

– How to make a living from climate-focused coaching

– How to maintain resilience as a climate coach

– How internal organisational coaches could be activated to spread sustainability

Linda and Alice will share about the Work that Reconnects (WtR), which helps to support and mobilise us to reconnect with what is really important, to face reality, and to reframe passive hope into active engagement during these troubling times. It was originally developed by inspirational eco-philosopher Joanna Macy in the late 1970s for activists, bringing together aspects of deep ecology, systems theory and Buddhism. 

The Work is structured around the Spiral Journey, a framework that invites participants to explore their lived experience with honesty and care—acknowledging both gratitude and pain—while developing new perspectives and a deeper sense of connection. Rather than relying on passive optimism, Active Hope reframes hope as a practice: something we do, individually and collectively, through values-led choices and courageous conversations.

In this SCC Roundtable session, we invite you to experience WtR with a view to drawing on it as a framework, insight and set of resources you can use in your own client coaching work. It will also deepen our individual and collective capacity to work with climate related emotions, complexity and uncertainty, and strengthen our ability to journey together as a collaborative in these uncertain times.”

Across African cultures, eclipses have long been perceived as moments when normal order is suspended – times of prophecy, recalibration and deep listening. In this spirit, our online gathering will explore how climate coaches are called to work with polarities and paradoxes in an age when inherited paradigms dominate.

Whether juxtaposing ancient wisdom and cutting-edge technologies, individual agency and collective responsibility, hope and grief, masculine and feminine – climate coaching increasingly requires the capacity to hold complexity without collapsing into simplistic narratives or false solutions.

This session invites coaches into a reflective and relational space to explore how we can move beyond “either/or” thinking and cultivate a “both/and” approach that honours multiple truths, diverse worldviews and the deep interdependence of people, planet and future generations.
