The ‘coaching in and with nature’ pod is celebrating indigenous wisdom and community gatherings, inspired by the traditions from South America, through practical and immersive ceremonies and practices in a unique experiece of nature coaching. We start with a sacred ancient mayan ritual, a cacao ceremony and finish with an elemental conscious movement practice and meditation  to experience different somatic journeys of balance and connection whilst integrating the elements of nature and their translation into intentional awareness and movement. Both practices will be guided and allow for dicussion on experiences or reflections.

The word “cacao” comes from the Mayan words “Ka’kau” meaning “heart blood,” and “Chokola’j” meaning “to drink together.”Cacao was considered one of the ingredients used to create humanity and it was also believed that the gods gifted cacao to the people directly. The scientific main ingredient in Cacao is theobroma, which translates to “Food of the Gods,” and the Maya believed that cacao was a key ingredient in restoring balance and connection to the divine.

For the cacao ceremony you will need to prepare the ingredients beforehand as we will be drinking the tea during the session. Directions are below

The recipe:

  • 1 regular mug
  • 200 grs of  chocolate (no sugar or similar and no milk if possible). Look for the organic Variety, 80% to 100% pure
  • 300 ml of water
  • Spices: clover, cinnamon and/or chilli pepper

For the conscious movement part of the session please allow for space to move where possible and wear comfortable clothing
