Weaving Climate into the Agenda: A Collaborative Session for Eco-Minded Coaches

When the climate crisis isn’t explicitly on the client’s agenda, is it possible, productive, or even ethical to bring discussion of climate into the coaching agenda? What shifts can we as coaches make to our practice and our coaching conversations to support both our clients and our vision for a more sustainable future for the earth? In this collaborative working session, come together with fellow coaches to reflect, discuss, and generate ideas for naturally integrating our values for the earth with our commitment to supporting our clients.

Intended audience: Coaches and coaches-in-training wanting to integrate climate more into their practice, particularly with clients for whom climate/sustainability are not top of the agenda.

A note from the host: I’m organizing this session because it’s a conversation I’m eager to participate in myself. I’ve given thought to this session’s central question, but am by no means an expert. My intention in hosting this session is to hold space and provide sufficient structure for a generative conversation to occur. All participants are invited to bring questions and tap into their own wisdom to generate solutions collaboratively.
