Rediscovering your Inner Compass: Nature as Guide

In a world of constant change, competing demands, and uncertainty, it is easy to lose sight of what matters most. Yet nature offers countless examples of wayfinding – sea turtles returning to their nesting beaches, whales navigating immense migrations, elephants remembering water sources across generations, and bees finding their way through collective intelligence.

In this nature-inspired Inner Development Goals (IDGs) session, we will explore the theme of Inner Compass within the BEING dimension.

Hosted by the CCA-Nature pod’s IDG Community of Practice, we invite you to join us as we reflect on moments when we have lost our way, learn from nature’s wisdom and explore practices that help us rediscover with our own inner compass.

Through guided reflection, dialogue, and stories from the natural world, we will explore what helps us stay aligned with our values, purpose, and deepest knowing, especially when the path ahead is unclear.

Outcomes:

  • Explore the concept of an Inner Compass through the lens of nature
  • Learn from nature’s examples of wayfinding and reflect on how these insights can inform our lives.
  • Reconnect with personal sources of guidance such as values, intuition, relationships, purpose and/or connection with nature
