Overview

An embodied workshop using the shapeshifter lens to explore change, weaving story and metaphor into real action.

How is the shapeshifter alive in your work and life right now?

Where are you being asked to adapt, flex, or become something new?

Shapeshifting is a workshop for anyone standing in the middle of change and wanting to meet it with curiosity instead of resistance. Change and adaptability are often talked about as something to manage or push through. This session offers a different way. Through story, metaphor and the body, you will explore what it feels like to shift shape, without losing yourself in the process.

With a playful, embodied approach, we’ll explore:
– What does it mean to shapeshift in your own work or life right now?
– Where are you already shifting shape, whether you’ve named it or not?
– How can you connect to a steady centre you can shift from?
– What happens when you approach change as something curious and alive, rather than something to survive?
– What’s one real shift, or action, you want to carry out of the session?

There’ll be space to arrive, slow down and settle into the online space. You’ll be invited to explore the shapeshifting theme through a simple embodied exercise, then we’ll go deeper with the story of Wolfskin. Throughout you will have opportunity to reflect and ground the work back to your context. Whilst playful and rooted in metaphor, this session is designed to link these inner reflections to outer action.

Presenter(s) Bio

I’m a keen wild swimmer, lover of all things wolf-related, and shapeshifter. As an embodied systems coach and facilitator, I bring in playful and nature-based methodologies to support people in finding their own shape, and their next steps, in a messy world! Beyond this session, my work centres on supporting the inner work needed to create connected, community climate action, from running Learning to Reconnect playshops to delivering training for Climate Emergency UK.
