With the last of the courgettes gathered in, a bumper squash harvest (long story) and the leaves just starting to turn, we are reaching out to enable our own harvest of sorts.

We are keen to connect coaches around the UK with all that is happening in our different worlds – there is so much dialogue around climate, so much news and so much innovation and creativity. There is an abundance of learning and action to explore.

One of the things we know from our nearly 2 years in existence as the Climate Coaching Alliance is that connecting with other coaches, sharing our work and finding out what is happening in other places gives us confidence, ideas and capability and enables us to learn more quickly than we could do alone.

As we listen to Sir David King, Former Chief Scientific Advisor to the UK Government, when he says “We have to move quickly. What we do, I believe, in the next three to four years will determine the future of humanity”, it’s also good to remember Meg Wheatley’s words that whatever the problem community is the answer. At least it gives us something to hold onto.

So, with more than 400 members of the Climate Coaching Alliance now based in the UK – imagine what thoughts, ideas, insights, learning and capability we might hold between us.

We have a small number of local communities of coaches, Wales, Yorkshire, UK South and others, that are already starting to really benefit from that community connection and we’d like to extend that to everyone if possible and support you to flourish.

We are inviting everyone who is signed up to the Climate Coaching Alliance in the UK to join us on the 29thOctober at 11.30am for one hour to meet, share and inspire each other.
