This is an interactive workshop that outlines a trauma-informed coaching approach to facilitate the healing and reconnecting of clients to themselves, to others, and to nature.

Trauma is the lasting emotional response that often results from living through a distressing event (sexual assault, violence, an accident, childhood abuse and/or neglect). It causes a disconnection from ourselves, our bodies, and the earth that can result in dissociation, despair, avoidance, over-consumption, and other addictions. In turn, this disconnection allows us to perpetuate the violation of the earth and cruelty to other living beings. When people are connected to themselves they are more able to extend caring to the planet and other living beings.

This session is an opportunity to discuss how trauma-informed principles can be applied to one’s coaching practice. How can we support our collaborators, staff, colleagues, and clients to turn towards these complex problems (environmental, social, and economic), so they might feel empowered to become part of the solutions?

This session is offered by Fractal Facilitation, providing coaching and consulting support for leadership in uncertain times.
