Draw Your Emotions: Feel Better Quickly Using Non-Verbal Processing

Emotions run high with confronting climate change.  Farah presents a gentle, innovative way to feel less stressed by playing with creativity.  You’ll get measurable results!

Absolutely no artistic ability required!

So much of what makes us emotional can be hard to verbalize, so working with a visual format will bypass that issue.

Discover a method to quickly feel calmer. Even if you are feeling multiple, layered emotions or you can’t really put your finger on what exactly you feel, this technique is for you.

Come and spend an easy and fun hour doing a fusion of playing with colour, lines and shapes combined with gentle emotional processing to release stress.

Using intuition and drawing, you will tap into the power of metaphor and imagination – allowing the expression and resolution of things that might be hard to process verbally. You can keep what you work on to yourself – nothing is evaluated or discussed unless you choose to do so.

Those who attend this session will:

* Experience stress reduction using a gentle, playful, imaginative approach.

* Learn how to adapt this process so that you can use it for yourself, and with your clients.

* Formulate a plan to apply these tools in daily life on your own.

Be prepared for some fun as we doodle, reflect, and visualize.  You will be amazed at the amount of stress relief that will come from this process, and how gentle and fun it is.

Preparation:

You can make do with whatever you have on hand. Plan to bring a minimum of 5 sheets of paper and a ball-point pen or pencil.

If you have art supplies, the following items are suggested:

• 5 to 10 sheets of blank unlined paper.

Preferably letter size, white, un-ruled, un-punched paper.

(Photocopy paper is perfect)

• A set of felt tip pens in rainbow colours

(Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet)

plus Brown, Black and Pink.

• A pencil

Don’t have some of the above? Bring any paper/pens/pencils you have on hand.

Presenter Bio

Farah Ali (https://farahalicoach.com/) is a relationship coach and also a Climate Grief Facilitator for the Good Grief Network. WHAT I DO: I help single professionals get over divorce/breakup/betrayal/confusion so that they can find an ideal partner. HOW I DO IT: I have felt the frustration of not knowing how to find the right partner myself: I was a highly accomplished professional and remained single 25+ years! My career grew but my love life stagnated. I did all the things I could think of-- what made the difference is what I now teach. Have been happily partnered with my ideal partner since 2019. Through private coaching, I empower you to build lasting change by uncovering what hinders you. You'll develop acceptance and deeper empathy about the past, and consequently build transformation for the future. WHAT MY CLIENTS ARE SAYING: “Farah has a gentle and lighthearted way of working. She provides a safe and judgment free container that makes it easy to open up and allows for deep work. I found that in my work with Farah, I was able to have more openheartedness and ease in my personal relationship with my ex.” --Adriana M, Intimacy Coach
