Tools for the Current US Climate with Erin Gallup from the Hive Initiative
In this monthly membership meeting of the CCA-USA community, we will welcome Erin Gallup, founder of Norway’s Hive Initiative who will share how the Mini-Summits system can be utilized to address the sustainability challenges facing US companies in the midst of today’s political environment.

Sustainability in Challenging Times: Tools for the Current US Climate
As sustainability priorities shift in the American political landscape, organizations face unique obstacles in keeping environmental goals alive. Join us for a session focused specifically on how coaches can help US companies navigate these complex waters.
Guest presenter Erin Gallup, founder of Norway’s Hive Initiative ( https://hiveinitiative.org ), will share how the Mini-Summits ( https://hiveinitiative.org/mini-summits ) system can be utilized to address the sustainability challenges facing US companies in the midst of today’s political environment. This free workshop system—designed to engage employees in sustainability efforts—offers a politically neutral approach to maintaining environmental progress despite changing regulatory landscapes.
In this US-focused session, Erin will:
– Introduce the Mini Summits and give a tour of the system
– Share how companies have used it
– Share how the system can be adapted to other audiences or uses
The presentation will include practical ways Mini-Summits can be positioned to US companies while still delivering meaningful environmental impact and business benefits.
Join us to discover how coaching can keep sustainability momentum going even when headwinds are strong, and how employee engagement might be the most resilient approach in challenging times.

Erin is a digital product designer who spent 20 years working for Silicon Valley’s tech companies, all the while desperately wanting to work on making our planet go in a better direction.
After moving to Norway in 2018, she founded the Hive Initiative as a way to realise this dream, put her skills to work and meet others who wanted to do the same. Together she and her collaborators created the Mini Summits as a way to make it easier to include employees in company sustainability efforts.
After completing the system, she has released it for free and is excited to share it with the CCA community.
