With the Covid-19 pandemic, Eco-anxiety and the rising mental health crisis as the backdrop, there is an increasing need for individuals and organisations to be more proactive in fostering well-being. Coaching can play a vital role in facilitating a positive environment for individuals and organisations to thrive.

In this session, we will deep dive into the PERMA model of well-being (developed by Professor Martin Seligman) and its application at an individual and organisational level. PERMA is a positive psychological construct of well-being. It consists of five elements and introduces tangible pathways towards flourishing. We will learn about positive psychological interventions to increase the PERMA qualities of well-being. Then we will have a look at the design of a multi-component intervention programme that incorporates the principles and practices of mindfulness, positive psychological interventions and nature affiliation.

Presenter(s) Bio

We are very lucky to have Angela Rook with us, all the way from Mexico.. willing to rise in the early dawn to be with us: After a previous corporate career in the UK and Australia, Angela pivoted to a path more aligned to her purpose. She now spends time supporting others to flourish and thrive. With over ten years of experience teaching mediation and yoga, and with her recent master training in positive psychology, Angela helps individuals connect to their hearts and make meaningful changes in their lives. She also works with organisations to cultivate workplace strengths and build well-being programmes so that their teams have the tools and skills to become more resilient, engaged and happy. Angela's vision is a world where people are connected and compassionate to themselves and others while maintaining a sense of fulfilment because they are thriving on their purpose.
