The Week is a powerful group experience that creates space for people to have brave conversations about the climate emergency, and what can be done about it right now. Join Julie Gefroh for this edition of The Week, taking place in three online gatherings in English on consecutive days – June 3, 4 & 5, 2024 – each session starting at 12:00 PST (Pacific Standard Time) and ending at 1:30 PST. You’ll be part of a small group that will together watch three documentary films (60 minutes each) and then take part in 30-minute conversations to grapple with the reality and emotions brought on by the climate emergency. The experience will show you how you can take action concretely – at home, at work, with your clients, in your community – to replace paralysis and despair by inspiring hope and joy. Monday 3 June, Day 1 – The Descent Tuesday 4 June, Day 2 – The Reckoning Wednesday 5 June, Day 3 – The Adventure NOTE: This group will be limited to 15 participants including the hosts, so please register early to guarantee your space.

Julie Gefroh provides developmental and somatic 1:1 coaching and offers learning programs to support navigating our inner complexity. Through her coaching and programs, participants uncover innate resourcefulness and creativity, opening fresh ways to respond to the complexity and challenges of work and life. Julie spent two decades working in the athletic and outdoor industries in international sales and operations, the last six in the tech sector managing Customer Success teams and as an internal coach and leadership development facilitator. With a long history of environmental and sustainability focus, she also assists companies in navigating the complexity of pursuing B Corp certification.

Content: Your event must relate directly to climate coaching and a significant proportion, if not all of the content must provide clear learning and value-added outcomes for participants. While limited promotional elements can be included, an event that is solely or significantly for the purpose of promoting products or services will not be approved for listing on this site.

Recordings: While you are free to record the event you must select Yes to the question in the event registration form “Is this event being recorded?“. If the decision to record the event is taken after your event has been approved and posted, you must advise all participants at the beginning of your event that it is being recorded. Further, whether or not you record the event yourself as the host and in keeping with restrictions the CCA applies to all those who register to attend your event, you must take reasonable measures to ensure that participants do not record your event, either directly or using any other means including agents and bots. This could be as simple as a declaration at the beginning of your event that unauthorised recordings are not permitted.
