Join the Countdown
Action inspires Action. Join this event to be part of COUNTDOWN – a global initiative that champions and accelerates solutions to the climate crisis, turning ideas into action. Launched in October 2020 by a collaboration of partners including TED and Future Stewards, it brings together individuals, citizens, governments, business and civil society in inspiring and creative new ways to take responsibility and action.
This session will feature powerful talks from Countdown’s global launch event – and in smaller breakouts we’ll discuss the ‘why, how and what’ of this important issue. You’ll come away informed and inspired – with the chance to reflect on the personal commitments that you can make! It is also a chance to join Countdown’s global community of people who are taking a stand for what they care about. Can we count you in?

She joined LQ fresh out of college, in June 2019 and has since been part of a range of programmes and system change projects such as TED Countdown and Count Us In. She believes that sustainable, equitable change is possible when self-reflective individuals act collaboratively – and this drew her to LQ.
