Focus on Young People and Climate Activism: A Collaboration between the Young People & Education Pod and the Political Pod

Please note the later event time of 1900 GMT.

In February, the CCA Young People and Education Pod and the Political Pod are working in collaboration to focus on the support young people need in facing up to the climate crisis.

We’ll look at the state of young people’s involvement in politics and in voting – are they giving up on politics when they see no response to the climate crisis?

How does it feel to be a young person aware of the climate crisis today?

Can getting involved in climate activism give them more agency?

What are the barriers to young people getting their voices heard?

What helps them take more effective action?

How can coaching support them?

Facilitated by Fiona Anderson from the Political Pod and Brendon Marshall from the Young People’s Pod, with the participation of young activists.
