CCA Festival Launch Event: Deep Time Walk – Step back in time to better step forward

1203 1203 people viewed this event.

A moment to stop and think about the juxtaposition of the present moment and deep time. Deep Time Walk is a transformative journey through 4.6bn years of Earth’s history via a 4.6km guided walk. It is an invitation to view the world differently, encouraging positive action and advocacy for a regenerative Earth.

Join Host Robert Woodford, co-founder and executive director of Deep Time Walk, together with CCA members from Francophone CCA, Roselyne Lecuyer (Paris) and Monica Callon (Montreal) who have experienced first-hand how the Deep Time Walk can be a powerful entry point to enable transformational change in hearts and minds.

In this session you will experience a taste of the Deep Time Walk, as well as learn more about the tool, how it works and how it can serve to awaken hearts and minds and call people to action. Please download the Deep Time Walk App before you attend this session at www.deeptimewalk.org, as this part of the Field Kit will be used for an exercise during this session.

The Deep Time Walk Project mission is to provide tools and resources to empower a global community of changemakers and volunteer facilitators to help bring about a diverse, flourishing ecological civilisation.  At the end of the session you will be invited to explore joining this community, find out about the collective wave of Deep Time Walk’s happening across the world on Earth Day (April 22, 2022) and register for a training course to step forward and lead a Deep Time Walk in your local community.
