Citizen Action for Climate Change
This is the story of a couple who bought a house by the sea shore in Mumbai in 2017, for their love of the sea and were appalled by the amount of garbage on the beach, with no place even to walk. This led to a movement called the #MahimBeachCleanUp.

Ruby Thapar, joiner of dots Ruby is a reputation, crisis and sustainability strategist and an executive coach. She is a skilled builder of coalitions within organizations, and with external stakeholders, to drive change agendas and as a facilitator of strategic ideation sessions. She served as Director, Corporate Affairs at Dow Chemical International Pvt. Ltd. She has also held senior communications, reputation management and CSR roles with Aditya Birla Group and Vedanta Resources. Before her corporate career she spent time in academia and the development sector. Ruby currently serves as an independent director on the board of an NGO, is Adjunct Consultant, CSR & Sustainability at The Conference Board, is attached as advisor on strategic reputation & communication mandates with Magenta; an empanelled coach, trainer and assessor at Zbac Adventure Institute and an uncertified yoga junkie
