The Week: A Shared Journey & Discussion on the Climate Challenge (3 days, 2 hours each)

Hosted by CCA member Claire d’Aboville.  I am offering an opportunity to experience this free program developed by Frederic Laloux and Helene Gerin, and team.  As a participant and organiser, I have loved it!

The environment is breaking down and the climate is changing rapidly.

The Week is a group experience to help us see what’s coming and what we can do about it. Recently, it’s been hard not to notice how fast the climate is changing. Experts say it will get worse really rapidly.

The Week is for those of us who want to know how this will affect us, in the next 10, 20 or 30 years and what we can do about it.

Day 1 – The Descent: June 3rd – 5pm – 7pm

Day 2 – The Reckoning: June 4th – 5pm – 7pm

Day 3 – The Adventure: June 6th – 5pm – 7pm

Too often, this issue feels abstract and overwhelming. The Week is a way to engage this issue, for real, with our friends, family or colleagues. It doesn’t tell us what to do but empowers us to make up our own minds. So that we can say down the line: I knew what I needed to know, I did what I needed to do, and I have no regrets.

Looking forward to experiencing The Week with you!

Presenter(s) Bio

Claire is an ICF accredited executive coach (PCC) since 2008. She supports senior leaders in international organisations and global contexts, in the private sector and within the United Nations.

A passionate reader (when she finds the time!), she read "The Future we Choose" (Christiana Figueres) in 2020. This reading opened her eyes to the climate crisis. Since then, she has moved back and forth through the Eco-Phases, learning as much as she could, and reflected on the role she wants to play. A mother of two young adults, she cares about her legacy and the world the contributes to create.

Recent trainings she attended include "Coaching in the Climate Crisis" (Academy of Executive Coaching), Transformative Climate Advocacy (Pacific Integral) and Business Sustainability Management (Cambridge).
