Joint Global Statement Group on Climate Change (the group that represents 11 coaching, coaching psychology and supervision bodies: AC, AOCS, APAC, APECS, COMENSA, EASC, EMCC, IAC, ICF, IOC and ISCP).

Come and be inspired and provoked at the next JGSG Roundtable, along with members from across the 11 bodies, and the global coaching community, who are collaborating for change through ‘The Joint Statement Group on Climate and Ecodiversity Crises’ (website: www.jgsg.one/).

This event is hosted jointly by APECS, COMENSA and the EMCC, and this 75-minute session will create space to explore the question, ‘AS COACHES, HOW ARE WE SHIFTING THE STATUS QUO?’ with special contributions from Charmaine Roche and Denis Opio.

Presenters Bios

Charmaine Roche is a Coach, Consultant, Reflective Practice Facilitator. Charmaine brings the following orientations to her work: Compassionate disruption | Decoloniality as a systemic Lens | Social justice advocacy and activism| Principles of equality, equity & belonging.

Denis Opio is a Coach, Mentor and Climate Change Advocate, CEO at Inspiring Star Initiative and a Member of Climate Coaching Alliance CCA.

Eve Turner is an award-winning coach, supervisor, researcher and author, co-founder of the Climate Coaching Alliance, and past chair of APECS.

Rita Symons is a coach, supervisor, creator of insight into leadership and team dynamics and world citizen.

Veronica Wantenaar: Coach, Coach Mentor, Coach Supervisor and Change Facilitator – Veronica’s purpose is to enable organisations, teams, individuals and communities to thrive in this ever-changing world.

Will James is a leadership and team coach who partners leaders and teams to thrive on purpose, develop their people, and optimise their impact and does so through a systems lens.

Content: Your event must relate directly to climate coaching and a significant proportion, if not all of the content must provide clear learning and value-added outcomes for participants. While limited promotional elements can be included, an event that is solely or significantly for the purpose of promoting products or services will not be approved for listing on this site.

Recordings: While you are free to record the event you must select Yes to the question in the event registration form “Is this event being recorded?“. If the decision to record the event is taken after your event has been approved and posted, you must advise all participants at the beginning of your event that it is being recorded. Further, whether or not you record the event yourself as the host and in keeping with restrictions the CCA applies to all those who register to attend your event, you must take reasonable measures to ensure that participants do not record your event, either directly or using any other means including agents and bots. This could be as simple as a declaration at the beginning of your event that unauthorised recordings are not permitted.

Promotion by CCA: Subject to the above, your event will be promoted by CCA in good faith and on the clear understanding that you will not use any information you collect from participants at your events (including those who register but do not attend) for the purposes of follow-up or other marketing unless you have first obtained that person’s express permission to do so. Unsolicited communications of any sort may be reported to the appropriate regulatory bodies.
