Without facing and resolving our own emotional traumas, we will most likely replicate the world we live in now. As changemakers, we must face our traumas to make ourselves ready for a new way of co-existing on this planet. And through understanding, awareness and two relatively simple processes, we can support our clients to embrace and release their traumas.

This is the body of work that Sarah Peyton has brought together from contributions from Nonviolent Communication, Steven Porges, Ruth Lanius and many more, and I’ve brought it into a coaching format. If I am chosen as keynote speaker, I will speak, do a demo, and engage the audience through breakout group engagement so that they get a lived experience of what I am talking about. If I will be offering this as a workshop, it will be same model but more space for personal interaction and involvement.

Presenter(s) Bio

Pernille is a white female, age 61. She is certified trainer in Nonviolent Communication, coach at PCC level, coach educator since 2013 (www.needsbasedcoaching.com), Resonant Healing Practitioner, eco-therapist, and workshop organizer. She founded BusinessByHeart in 2013 and has been self-employed since then. Originally trained in organic farming and agricultural engineering, she has been part of the organic agriculture movement since the 1980’ies.

She was born and lives in Denmark, now in a women’s community with livestock, permaculture demonstration, and workshop activities. Part of her personal story is of leaving the prisons of an eating disorder and an abusive marriage. Today, she loves deepening her relationships with her wife, adult children, and grandchildren. "I remind people of our connectedness as humans and with the more than human world. We are cells in a larger tissue. When we forget, it's most likely because traumatic experiences have led us to believe we are alone. I offer gentle, yet direct coaching conversations to support re-entering the heart space of our shared, living weave."
