Tips & Tricks for Talking with Politicians

720 720 people viewed this event.

Our elected politicians are going to have an enormous influence over whether or not the human race responds quickly, cleverly and fairly enough to climate change. As coaches we know it can be challenging for a person to take on new ideas – especially when that person is swamped with new ideas every day.

So how best can we influence MPs? How best can we ensure climate action is embraced – or at least considered?  This session offers many practical tips and tricks that make a real difference when engaging with politicians. Together we will explore best ways to make initial contact, how to avoid being ignored and how to work the room like a professional lobbyist when you have a face-face meeting.
