This group is aimed at Yorkshire-based coaches with an interest in climate.  It is a confidential, respectful, thinking and feeling space where you can meet with other coaches and express your feelings about climate and ecological breakdown.

You may be working within the field of climate specifically, have a personal or professional interest or want to explore this topic more in the context of your coaching practice.

This is a deliberately emergent space where you can talk safely and informally about what it means for you in your personal and professional life, perhaps find common ground, and listen to others’ experiences, thoughts and feelings.

Attendees bring whatever they wish to bring, and there is no expectation of more than that.

Because the focus is on each person present, what you are curious about, what is emerging for you in the field of climate and sustainability, there are no guest speakers, no lectures, no advice and no expectations that you will join any cause or take any action, although of course if you want to, that’s up to you.

We ask that all coaches attending commit to the CCA group culture:

We commit to a shared space of respect, curiosity, and generosity. We will ask open and thoughtful questions, share our stories and ideas with care, and listen with a genuine desire to understand.

Our conversation will be collaborative — one voice at a time, with space for everyone to contribute equally. We will step up or step back as needed, leaning into learning and welcoming diverse perspectives.

Together, we will hold hard truths with compassion, focus on what is possible, and seek ways to support each other’s growth. Inclusiveness, connection, and resilience will guide us as individuals and as a community.

Valuing diverse thoughts, views and experiences and supporting the emergent nature of a learning, sharing and reflective space.
