Yorkshire Climate Coaching Alliance – Climate Café – October 2025 Meeting Online
October Online Meeting – Yorkshire Climate Coaching Alliance – Climate Café
This group is aimed at Yorkshire-based coaches with an interest in climate. It is a confidential, respectful, thinking and feeling space where you can meet with other coaches and express your feelings about climate and ecological breakdown.
The structure is relaxed and informal.
Attendees bring whatever they wish to bring, within the remit of the group, and there is no expectation of more than that.
Because the focus is on each person present, what you are curious about, what is emerging for you in the field of climate and sustainability, there are no guest speakers, no lectures, no advice and no expectations that you will join any cause or take any action, although of course if you want to, that’s up to you.
As host/facilitator and coordinator for this chapter; JK aims to ensure this is an inclusive and explorative space in which we have the opportunity to be collaborative in our approach to discussions and understanding.
Please note an example of a typical Climate Coaching Alliance group culture, ahead of us meeting together:
We commit to a shared space of respect, curiosity, and generosity. We will ask open and thoughtful questions, share our stories and ideas with care, and listen with a genuine desire to understand.
Our conversation will be collaborative — one voice at a time, with space for everyone to contribute equally. We will step up or step back as needed, leaning into learning and welcoming diverse perspectives.
Together, we will hold hard truths with compassion, focus on what is possible, and seek ways to support each other’s growth. Inclusiveness, connection, and resilience will guide us as individuals and as a community.
This space is open to Yorkshire region coaches [ living or working in Yorkshire] interested or curious about working in, with or on behalf of climate-related issues and how this might impact yourself, your client work and wider networks
You do not need to come as an expert or Guru in this field, and the session offers space to explore, free of judgment, and discuss personal or professional topics relating to climate, as well as sharing experiences and learning as a group.
