Exploring eco-responsible leadership development in Africa – Hosted by the CCA Africa chapter

Join Isabel Wolf-Gillespie, an eco-responsible leadership development coach and practitioner, as she shares insights from her post-graduate research that could be relevant to the work of African coaches, leaders and practitioners in the current context.

Drawing on the lived experiences of leaders across Africa, South America and India, Isabel’s PhD research shows that eco-responsible leadership develops through a reciprocal relationship between inner transformation and external realities.

Learn how values, empathy, resilience, moral courage, reflexivity, systems awareness and contextual intelligence emerge through engagement with social, cultural, economic and ecological challenges.

Find out if universalised leadership models can be challenged by demonstrating that inner development is contextually embedded and non-linear, offering a transferable yet adaptable framework for developing leaders capable of advancing inclusive and sustainable change.
