FEAR – Change How You Think
Discover how you can reframe your thinking about FEAR, using Nature and Permaculture Thinking
FEAR shows up around us, in most situations. We are afraid of how we look, not meeting societies expectations, not being good enough for that job, or that person.
There is so much to be afraid of in the present time, from the pressure to meet social norms and the need to be accepted, to the polycrisis – climate change, data centres and habitat destruction, food insecurity, out of control erratic leaders; the list is overwhelming.
Have we become too afraid of who we are in the process? Are we afraid to be vulnerable in order to connect? Have we lost compassion for ourselves and those around us as a result? What resources do we have at our disposal to change this?
The first step to being an activist, coach or anyone who has a role supporting others, is self care. We can’t help anyone if we can’t take care of ourselves. In order to do that we need to recognise and understand our own pain and destructive behaviour patterns.
Polly Higgins described our own personal fears as Inner Ecosides, “we all have inner ecosides that block our greatness.”
This interactive workshop with Permaculture Coach, Wenderlynn Bagnall, is an opportunity to step out of your comfort zone, and with compassion and a non-judgemental approach, invite you to step into FEAR.
Bring your playfulness, humour and vulnerability to discover how Nature metaphor, and Permaculture thinking can guide you to reframe your own thinking, to obtaining a yield for growth and abundance.
As a collective community, we will share our own stories on how FEAR stops us from thriving, and work together to discover Permaculture techniques and practices, to overcome it and how to find a way forward.
With Nature as her co-facilitator, Wenderlynn will introduce you to how she has used the ethics and principles of Permaculture Design to overcome her own patterns of FEAR, providing me with clarity for better mental resilience.
